Please note that as always, our use of the term "artwork" is rather flexible. Whether two, three, or four dimensional, the work may include traditional and/or non-traditional art materials (eg. painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, fiber, etc.). Written work and performance are eligible – just include appropriate work samples with your application.
The timeline is as follows: please plan ahead!
Application materials must be received by January 31st.Accepted art work must be shipped, or delivered, in "ready-to-hang" condition. We will provide pedestals for sculptural works.
Artists will be notified of inclusion by February 4th.
Accepted works need to be at the gallery by Friday, February 11th.
A reception will be held at the Nohr Gallery the evening of Tuesday, February 15th.
- Accepted live performances will take place during the opening reception.
- ArtsBuild will retain a 25% commission on any sales made during the exhibition.
- Unsold work must be picked up by March 19th, or an adequate pre-paid container must be provided for return shipping.
We strongly encourage you to apply by e-mail. Attach jpeg images representing up to 5 pieces, along with the completed application form to artsbuild@yahoo.com. If paying by credit card, please phone in your credit card information to the office at 608-342-1314. PLEASE! Do NOT e-mail your credit card numbers, as the information may not be secure. You may mail a check separately to the address below.
